Classic Game Room HD – NASCAR KART RACING for Wii review pt1
Part 1 of 2: Watch in HD. Classic Game Room reviews NASCAR KART RACING from EA Sports for the Nintendo Wii video game console. This cart driving game is ultra-fast and ultra-smooth and ultra-fun for fans of the cartoony, anything goes smash your enemies with dynamite sticks racing genre. Are you bored of all the existing MarioKart Wii racing courses and want to try something new? Whether you’re a Nascar stock car fan or not this game should appeal to you if you’re in the mood for a family friendly outing of competitive Kart racing. It works with the Wii Wheel and instead of magic mushrooms and Mario characters the game is filled with cartoon likenesses of Nascar drivers like Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson Cark Edwards and Matt Kenseth. Drive the DuPont car, Lowe’s race car or (my favorite) the M&M race car! There are also a number of unlockable fictional characters (that players unlock) who would easily win any Wii wet T-Shirt contest. Now… that’s a game idea…. Race on Nascar inspired tracks like Daytona and Talladega. Classic Game Room HD brings you the best in new school and old school retro video game reviews. We are a Wii reviewer reviewing new Wii games from 2009 as well as PS3, Xbox 360 and Atari 2600. Nascar Kart Racing is published by Electronic Arts, Inc. and developed by EA North Carolina.

Classic Game Room HD – SUPER GODZILLA for Super Nintendo
Classic Game Room HD reviews SUPER GODZILLA for the Super Nintendo video game console. This Super Godzilla review for the SNES shows the gameplay footage of Super Godzilla, several of the monsters including King Ghidora (aka Monster Zero), Mechagodzilla and Biollante. This is an interesting game and licensed from Toho. It plays like part strategy game and part fighting game, although instead of traditional 2D fighting with Godzilla vs. Monsters you use a “fighting spirit”. In order to play the game properly you must learn and master this fighting spirit. CGR would rather watch Godzilla movies but that’s just us… Anyway, it’s an interesting game and a valiant effort on the Super Nintendo. Music and graphics are top notch as is the Godzilla King of the Monsters Terror of Mechagodzilla style plot. Maybe the game could have used even more flying saucers and hot Japanese scientists with nothing to lose except their lab coats but hey… maybe they’ll make that into the next game. Classic Game Room reviews SNES video games and has a collection of Super Nintendo games to review over the next several months. Keep coming back for daily Classic Game Room new and classic video game reviews. Game includes other monsters like Mothra.

Classic Game Room HD – TOY STORY 3 for PS3 review
Classic Game Room HD reviews TOY STORY 3 for Playstation 3 (also for Xbox 360 and Wii). What do Toy Story 3 and High Plains Drifter have in common? Watch and learn… watch and learn. Play as Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Zurg and the crew from the Toy Story movies in this E 10+ rated game aimed at a younger audience. Rich with solid visuals and easy to pick-up-and-play controls, Toy Story 3 does everything right except provide a challenge. Players who enjoy spending time in a game where they collect stars, items, trophies or achievement points and toys will dig the game, but those looking for a real gameplay experience should look elsewhere. It is ideal for kids who love the movies because Toy Story 3 the video game looks just like the movie! The production value is impeccable and Disney Interactive Studios, Pixar and Avalanche Software have done an excellent job bringing Toy Story to life in an interactive fashion. The toy box mode is a nice addition to the game as well for fans of collecting and building.

Classic Game Room HD – HAMSTER BALL for Playstation 3 PS3 review
Classic Game Room HD reviews HAMSTER BALL for Playstation 3 PS3, a similar game to the popular Super Monkey Ball series. Hamster Ball packs awesome, fast paced HD visuals and some crushing boards that will send numerous hamsters plummeting into the depths of wherever. Hate hamsters? You’ll love Hamster Ball. Some trial and error is required to meander through mazes that come straight out of Dr. Seuss-land. Numerous boards invite you to compete for the fastest time and push your hamster to the limits. From publisher Tik-Creat, Hamster Ball is a clever look at the Monkey Ball style of gameplay which works well with the PS3 controller’s dual analog sticks.

Classic Game Room buys a SUPER NINTENDO SNES system
Classic Game Room HD buys a SUPER NINTENDO video game console! Can you believe it? A used SNES is now in the possession of the world’s most powerful video game review show, CLASSIC SNES OWNING GAME ROOM! Now we can review all of the classics except with a “super” in front of them, like “SUPER Metroid” and “SUPER Star Wars”. This console purchase was overshadowed by our recent adventure to buy a Sega Saturn, and we were excited to find a SNES at the same store for $40 with controller and power supply and wires etc… We turned it on, it works. Plays well except the game seems a bit wobbly in there. Classic Game Room reviews video games from years past and the future, although don’t call us retro reviews, because we are permanently stuck in the ’80s which isn’t retro, it’s now. We’re now reviewers. We review games now. Not then, you just missed it. It’s now. The SNES joins the Sega Saturn, Sega Genesis, Mega Drive MD , Sega CD, 32x, Playstation 1, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Entertainment System NES, N64 and Magnavox Odyssey 2 consoles for the awesome CGRHD show!

Classic Game Room HD – ATGAMES SEGA MEGA DRIVE 20 in 1 Game Console
Classic Game Room HD reviews the ATGAMES SEGA MEGA DRIVE 20 in 1 video game console. 20 officially licensed games are included in the 20-1 Sega Megadrive from AtGames, it also plays American, Japanese and European Sega Mega Drive (aka Sega Genesis) game cartridges. This is also known by some as the Sega Genesis Model 4 Sega Firecore video game console. This particular unit came donated from Qatar (thank you!) and is not available normally in the West. The AtGames Sega Megadrive 20 in 1 game console has a switch to play NTSC and PAL video games, it comes with 2 controllers and a set of RCA cables for composite video and mono audio. Although the inclusion of 20 games including Crack Down, Arrow Flash and Jewel Master is cool, the sound quality and odd compatibility with some games make this console a 2nd rate option even with its excellent features giving flexibility to players around the world.

Classic Game Room HD – MAG for Playstation 3 PS3 review
Classic Game Room HD reviews MAG for Playstation 3 PS3. Multiplayer Action Game, hoorah! Mag may not be the most prolific shooter ever created but Sony’s PS3 exclusive shooter is made for massive multiplayer games and succeeds. Short on style but high on action, that’s MAG in a nutshell. Smooth online games with up to 256 player battles and very little wait time between matches. Headset compatible with lots of people playing and numerous combat style engagements, MAG excels where so many other shooters fall flat on their face. On the downside for some is the fact that MAG is multiplayer only, so the fun only lasts as long as people are playing it. MAG is like a combination of Warhawk and Modern Warfare 2. Well designed multiplayer boards and fast paced combat with upgrade ready machine guns, sniper riles and heavy weapons await PS3 gamers. This CGR review of MAG has gameplay from MAG showing online multiplayer game play in action. UPC 711719811022

Classic Game Room HD – GUITAR HERO 3 DEF LEPPARD Track Pack
Classic Game Room HD reviews the DEF LEPPARD track pack for Guitar Hero 3 for the Xbox 360 video game console. Download three Def Leppard songs like Photograph and Rock of Ages from Xbox Live Arcade XBLA and rock, rock ’till you drop. You can Armageddon it like an animal while you pour some sugar on me. Photograph? Who needs a picture when you’re high and dry and headin’ for the heartbreak! It’s hysteria! Rocket, yeah! While we all wait for Guitar Hero World Tour and enjoy the existing Guitar Hero III video game we can play a few downloadable track packs at a modest cost to spice up our GH lifestyles. I’m proud to say I have Def Leppard on CD, vinyl and cassette, and now on Guitar Hero 3 for Xbox 360! Enjoy this and other Classic video game reviews from the Classic Game Room video game review show. Some people say “It’s good!”, critics say “whatever” and it’s the show everyone is talking about (no it isn’t). CGR bitches!

Classic Game Room HD – ATARI ANTHOLOGY for Xbox review
Classic Game Room HD reviews ATARI ANTHOLOGY for Xbox, which also works on the Xbox 360 video game console. This amazing collection has dozens of Atari 2600 classic video games, as well as a number of arcade classics, all on one disc like Missile Command, Yars’ Revenge, Swordquest Waterworld and Space War! The games play out in fabulous 1080i HDTV graphics and look better than they did on the Atari 2600 (although in many cases that may not be a good thing, but this is emulation and these are emulated Atari 2600 games and they still rock!) Instead of using the standard Atari 2600 single button, single joystick controller you play all of these Atari and arcade hits using your Xbox or Xbox 360 controller. Atari Anthology is also available for the Playstation 2 PS2 video game system although CGRHD has not reviewed that version. We do however like the Atari Anthology disc for Xbox and played it with our 360 and give it two hearty beers up. Classic Game Room is your home for the best classic video game reviews anywhere in the known universe, or univereses that you don’t know, understand or could possibly fathom. A bunch of angels in some far of heaven meets disco wonderland universe coul make a video game review show with naked girls, beer drinking and talking frogs and it would still suck compared to Classic Game Room (we made that up, talking frogs would be awesome!)

Classic Game Room HD – Wii SPORTS GOLF review
Classic Game Room HD reviews Wii SPORTS GOLF for the Nintendo Wii video game console! This Wii Sports Golf review shows gameplay and the basic layout of this excellent game which uses the Wii controller to great effect. Don’t have the time, money or motivation to actually go outside and golf for real? Pick this game up for your Wii and putt, drive and golf in the comfort of your own home. Wii Sports Golf has the traditional graphic styling of the Nintendo created Wii games, where the characters look like little Fisher Price figures. The controls are excellent and the 9 hole course is varied enough to keep the game interesting and give it replay value. You swing the Wii controller like a golf club, hit the ball with a designated amount of force and drive the ball where it needs to go. Then putt it into the hole and attempt to get a score of par or lower. Classic Game Room reviews Wii video games and has numerous Wii reviews. Check back for daily video game reviews and Wii game reviews right here! You may even learn how to improve your Wii golfing skills here with footage of the gameplay.
